你的生日是星期几？你知道你出生那天是星期几吗？现在教你把这个问题算出来的有趣的方法。例如，算一算 1979 年5 月5 日是星期几。 事先必须知道下面四个数：

①公元年数的末两位数。如1979年，就是79。

②年数的末两位数除以4所得的商。如1979年，就是 79÷4=19……余3，但是，如果恰能整除，那么所求的是1月和2月时，要从得数上减去1。

③月系数。查下面的表，5月的系数是1。

一年中各月的系数：1月是0，2月是3，3月是3，4月是6，5月是1，6月是4，7月是6，8月是5，9月是5，10月是0，11月是3，12月是5。

④日数。如5日就是5。

知道了这4个数，把它们相加，得数再除以 7，求出余数。

若余数是1 ，那么那天就是星期一，余数是 2 ，那天是星期二……余数是 6 ，那天就是星期六，恰能整除，那天就是星期日。这样，1979 年5 月5 日是 79+19+1+5 =104，104÷7=14……余6，所以这一天是星期六。（彭景廉）
