But that’s also a keyword for everyone else selling them. In fact, there are around 1,890,000,000 searches that will come up. Actually, you need long-tail keywords. Let’s try women’s sneakers: 1,020,000,000. Still too many, but a bit better. Let’s narrow that down further: women sneakers bad knees. This has around 21,700,700 searches. Nevertheless, traffic by itself will not increase your clientele; you need the right traffic.

Content

Search engines want comprehensive, high-quality content to rank you. Websites that focus on one single niche do much better than websites that are all over the place, meaning your site needs to be thorough in its content which is related to your business. Content and comprehensive SEO can make or break the trust people will put in you in being knowledgeable not just about your product but also about your niche. You want to put content that they understand and that speaks to them. Search engines will take into consideration the length of your posts, regular updates on your site, and internal links. Optimize Title Tags and Meta-descriptions

Forgetting or omitting the keyword(s) in either one of these will not get you clients simply because they won’t click on something that doesn’t have their search keyword in it. Going back to the example of sneakers, just writing sneakers in every other line isn’t going to get you more clicks. You need proper SEO practices if you want to be on that first page of search engines and get more clients and customers.
