射箭环数问题：在射箭训练中，有甲、乙两名运动员参加，每射一箭得到的环数是2~10的自然数。他们各射了5箭，每人射中的环数的积都是1764，但是甲的总环数比乙的总环数少3环。求甲和乙射箭的总环数各是多少？

解题思路：

每人射中的环数的积都是1764，如果去想哪五个数乘起来等于1764，是有些困难的。但是如果反过来，把1764分解质因数，然后再去找相乘后等于1764的五个数，则要容易得多。

解题过程：

先把1764分解质因数，可以用短除法，结果得到：1764＝2×2×3×3×7×7，再从这六个数字中选出两个数字相乘，得到一个积，这个积与剩下的四个数字就是每人射中的环数。根据组合形式的不同，共有以下几种结果：

4，3，3，7，7

6，2，3，7，7

9，2，2，7，7

14，2，3，3，7

21，2，2，3，7

49，2，2，3，3

再将这几种情况下，五个数的和算出来（即每人射中总环数），其中4，3，3，7，7的和是24，9，2，2，7，7的和是27，正好相差3环，由此得知：甲射中24环，乙射中27环。

小结：这道题的解答，用到了分解质因数这一方法。分解质因数法在解决某些问题时，是很有效的一种方法。
