数学题解答：

第一问：先看重复加的情况。先迫近3842这个和。几次尝试就可以了。

如果直接从1加到100，那么和是：(1+100)×(100÷2)=5050。

如果从1加到50，那么和是：(1+50)×(50÷2)=1275。

如果从1加到80，那么和是：(1+80)×(80÷2)=3240。

如果从1加到90，那么和是：(1+90)×(90÷2)=4095。

再从后面的数开始一个一个地减，直到接近3842且比3842小为止。

4095-90=4005，4005-89=3916，3916-88=3828。

最后用3842减去3828，算出重复加的数。3842-3828=14。

答：重复加的数是14。
