翡翠台（英语：Jade）是香港电视广播有限公司拥有的一条以粤语广播为主的综合娱乐频道，翡翠台于1967年11月19日起，在香港正式启播，大部分时间以粤语播放，部分节目会利用丽音技术（模拟版本）或多重AC-3位流（数码版本）同时以其他语言同步播放。其节目包括新闻、电视剧、综艺、动画及时评访谈等多元化节目。数码翡翠台于2013年3月18日凌晨3时起改为高清广播，并于2016年2月22日起将该频道可使用的带宽增至最高10.5Mbps，把画质提升至更佳的高清水平。

新闻

翡翠台每日会播放一定时数的新闻节目，包括《香港早晨》（逢星期一至六）、《午间新闻》、《六点半新闻报道》、《晚间新闻》，以及于平日特定时间播放的《新闻提要》，提供即时本地及国际新闻。天气方面，翡翠台于每日黄昏及晚间播放两节《天气报告》，亦会于早午晚随新闻报道后播放《瞬间看地球》，提供即时本地及世界各地天气概况。财经方面，翡翠台逢交易日于港股交易时段内播出数节《交易现场》，并于交易时段后播放《财经新闻》。

另外，翡翠台每周亦会播放由新闻部公共事务科制作的新闻时事节目，例如《新闻透视》、《财经透视》及《星期X档案》。
