数学题解答：此题超过小学生的能力范围，此处略作介绍。首先需要作三条辅助线，过E点做AB、BD的垂线。（我们认为E是中点，EO应该正好垂直于BD）。再连接EB，它是大扇形的半径。

先求出大扇形的半径（即EB，或AB）：4×4＋4×4＝32，这就是大扇形的半径的平方，不要问为什么，这里用的是中学的勾股定理。

再算出大扇形去掉小正方形后剩下两块中每一块的面积：（3.14×32÷4-4×4）÷2＝4.56（平方厘米）

最后求阴影部分面积，方法是：大扇形面积+半圆的右半边扇形面积-4.56。这里不解释，可以自己想一下。

3.14×32÷4+3.14×（4×4）÷4-4.56＝33.12（平方厘米）

答：阴影部分面积是33.12平方厘米。
