已两棵古柏树的年龄和是4000岁，如果把其中的小树年龄+1000岁，那么小树也变成大树，两棵大树的年龄就是4000+1000=5000（岁），所以一棵大树的年龄就是：

5000÷2=2500（岁）

小树的年龄就是：2500-1000=1500（岁）或4000-2500=1500（岁）

差点忘了，题中所描述的一切都是500年前的学者所说，而要求的是树现在的年龄，所以就是：大树：2500+500=3000（岁），小树：1500+500=2000（岁）
