正方形的边长是2dm求圆面积：下图中，正方形的边长是2dm，圆形的面积是多少平方厘米？

此题与《圆形的面积是多少平方厘米》有些关联，最终可以利用那一题的方法来求圆的面积。先看下图：将正方形的对角顶点相连，两条对角线交叉，将整个正方形平均分成4个三角形，分别标注为a，b，c，d。再将其中一份（比如d）移动到c的右边，组合成一个正方形，那么这个小正方形的面积应该是大正方形面积的一半（想想为什么？）。

因为大正方形由四个三角形拼成，而小正方形由2个三角形拼成，所以小正方形面积是大正方形面积的一半。而这个小正方形成圆的位置关系与《圆形的面积是多少平方厘米》中的情况完全相同，所以圆的面积也是小正方形面积的π倍。这样我们便找到了解答此题的方法：

大正方形的面积：2×2＝4（dm²）

小正方形的面积：4÷2＝2（dm²）

圆的面积：3.14×2＝12.56（dm²）
